solojones was born to merge fashion and function, to allow and encourage people to feel good under their clothes.

solojones started in 2003 as solo, a pun on sew and because it was a one-woman show. chones is slang for underwear in spanish, and jones is slang for chones, making jones a nickname for underwear in english. we don't love the word panties. call them jones. call them solojones.

out of demand, solojones has stepped forward to launch our retail website, after functioning as a wholesaler since 2004. with this launch, head designer and seamstress sunny dawn summers welcomes hannah stubblefield as her creative director and webmaster. we've come together out of necessity, to meet the great demand that continues to be a pleasant surprise.
